Un peu d’histoire
Le M1126 Stryker est un véhicule blindé transport de troupe à roues 8×8 américains. Il a été développé à la fin des années 1990 par General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada, il est entré en service en 2002.
Le Stryker est nommé en l’honneur de deux soldats américains tués en service lors de deux guerres différentes et qui ont reçu la Medal of Honor à titre posthume, l’un lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, l’autre lors de la guerre du Vietnam.
Le M1126 Stryker est développé à partir du LAV-III Kodiak canadien sur la base mécanique du véhicule blindé Mowag Piranha III Suisse. Il possède le tourelleau téléopéré RWS M-151 Protector qui peut recevoir une mitrailleuse lourde M2HB de 12.7 mm ou un lance-grenade automatique Mk-19 de 40 mm.
Une large gamme de véhicules blindés est développée sur le châssis du M1126 Stryker. Toutes les versions du Stryker équipent les brigades SBST, Stryker Brigade Combat Team, de l’armée américaine.
The M1126 Stryker is an American 8×8 wheeled armored personnel carrier. It was developed in the late 1990s by General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada, it entered service in 2002.
The Stryker is named in honor of two American soldiers killed in service during two different wars and who received the Medal of Honor posthumously, one during the Second World War, the other during the Vietnam.
The M1126 Stryker is developed from the Canadian LAV-III Kodiak on the mechanical basis of the Swiss Mowag Piranha III armored vehicle. It has the remote-operated RWS M-151 Protector cupola which can accommodate a 12.7 mm M2HB heavy machine gun or a 40 mm Mk-19 automatic grenade launcher.
A wide range of armored vehicles is developed on the chassis of the M1126 Stryker. All versions of the Stryker equip the SBST brigades, Stryker Brigade Combat Team, of the US Army.

Cette conversion reproduit la version transport de troupe du Stryker et reprend l’excellente base Solido que Gaso.line a convertie dans la qualité reconnue de cette marque avec des détails réalistes.
Le kit de conversion ne contient pas la base Solido et il faudra faire attention à bien récupérer certaines pièces du modèle de base qui sont réinstallées sur la conversion.
De plus le canon de la mitrailleuse du tourelleau RWS M-151 Protector est réalisé en laiton usiné pour un meilleur réalisme et une plus grande solidité, le reste du kit est en résine comme à l’accoutumer chez Gaso.line.
You can now order the conversion kit of the M1126 Stryker on Solido base in 1/48 scale by Gaso.line.
This conversion reproduces the troop transport version of the Stryker and takes over the excellent Solido base that Gaso.line has converted in the recognized quality of this brand with realistic details.
The conversion kit does not contain the Solido base and it will be necessary to be careful to recover certain parts of the base model which are reinstalled on the conversion.
In addition, the barrel of the machine gun of the RWS M-151 Protector cupola is made of machined brass for better realism and greater solidity, the rest of the kit is in resin as usual at Gaso.line.
